My CHEVY COLORADO has a security lock for when it thinks it's being stolen I had fixed this problem by changing my alternator and not had a problem the method of taking the negative off the battery and if the vehicle turns off its the alternator. Most the time if you turn the key slightly wrong it thinks your not the owner I had these problems and I wanted to share with you what I did to get this security bypass which locks the vehicle because it thinks it's being stolen.
