2004 Minneapolis THQ 125cc East AMA Supercross Championship (Round 2 of 7)
This is round 2 of the 2004 THQ 125cc East AMA Supercross Championship from the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN.
Returning contenders like Danny Smith, Kelly Smith, Eric Sorby, Paul Carpenter, Brett Metcalfe, Ryan Mills, 2-time 125cc MX champ Steve Lamson, Suzuki rookies Broc Hepler and Davi Millsaps, and defending 125cc West champ James "Bubba" Stewart Jr. battle it out for the 2004 THQ 125cc East AMA Supercross Championship. This season is totally dominated by James "Bubba" Stewart. Defending 125cc East champ Branden Jesseman is scratched from the series due to an injury sustained before the 125cc East opener in Houston. Watch as James "Bubba" Stewart attempts to tie Jeremy McGrath's all-time 125cc wins record at 13. This race marks the very first 125cc Supercross for Suzuki rookie Davi Millsaps #188 after he was forced to miss the 125cc East opener in Houston due to being 4 hrs. shy of age 16. 125cc West rider Josh Hansen #68 earns his first career podium and the first of a run of 5 podiums in 6 races, which eventually prompts the AMA to do away with the rule of 125cc East and West riders outside of the top 10 in points being able to participate in opposite division races for 2005 and beyond.
Enjoy.
