2010 Minecraft Map with 2019 BSL Shaders
130This was my very first Minecraft Alpha world, created in 2010. I played this continually from Alpha 1.2.3, all the way to Beta 1.6, but then the map ended up being lost to time, stuck on the hard drive to a computer that had stopped working. About three months ago, my older brother was dismantling this computer, and he asked if I wanted any of the files on its drives. I jumped at the opportunity to bring this map with me, and I want to share it with all of you as well.
Note that the chests inside the house were removed due to how long it had been since it was last played (Beta 1.8 would have turned the blocks into entities without touching the contents of the chests, but I missed that mark, so I had to replace them there through other means), but besides that I have done very few edits to the map as I had built it in 2010-2011. There are a couple hidden easter eggs, but I haven't dismantled or rebuilt the map in any spectacular fashion. I hope you enjoy.
