The Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues 2015 Disability Awards and Recognition Event honors exceptional individuals with disabilities, employers of individuals with disabilities and others that have shown dedication to the access and functional needs community. The event recognizes commitment to improving the quality of life of all residents and visitors to Phoenix. It is our hope that this annual event will inspire others to emulate the honorees and provide a fully accessible Phoenix for everyone.
Keynote speaker Gary Karp of Modern Disability has seen decades of change in the ADA community and will recount some of his experiences.
