the new surface 3 vs surface pro 3 is 22 percent lighter, has a 10.8 inch screen vs the pro that has a 12 inch screen. 214 ppi vs 216ppi so about the same ppi.
pen not included cost additional 50. vs pro 3 already has it.
only 3 positions but it still gets the job done however pro 3 hinge is still superior.

has LTE capabilities vs pro3 which doesn't.
