(2020) How to record/capture PS3 gameplay with any Capture Card (ElgatoHD60S)
196Today I'm showing how to record your PS3 gameplay with an HDMI Splitter and a Component converter box on your capture card. Video examples are going to show in this video as well.
When it comes to recording for the PS3 it's very hard to record anything with the HDMI connection port in the back of the PS3 to a game capture device because of the HDCP. HDPC doesn't allow you to record or stream anything on your PS3 but there are some ways to bypass the system using an HDMI Splitter or a Component converter box with component cables.
You can use whatever type of HDMI cables and component cables in your setup.
