The Mazda3 is a little more expensive than others in the class, however, you get what you pay for. For 2021, Mazda added a turbo engine and a new entry level engine. As a result, the new Mazda3 can compete with a base Kia Forte, a Honda Civic, a Subaru WRX, or a BMW 2-Series. Mazda did a great job on the 3, but they made some i n t e r e s t i n g decisions, and I will explore this in detail.
