This 2022 Jaguar F Type R has the 5.0L V8 supercharged with 575 horsepower and a snappy 8 speed automatic transmission. The power is sent to all four wheels as well. This FType R sounds absolutely amazing! With the top down you can hear the violent cracks from every upshift and the meaty tone under full throttle acceleration. The FType R packs a nice punch and get s up to speed super quick. It's a blast to drive in the mountains. It does weigh nearly 4,000 LBS, so you can feel the weight in the hard turns. Suspension is soft enough in dynamic mode to still absorb bumps and give you a solid feel. But it still sways a bit in the hard turns and can get unsettled in tighter spots. But for being more of a luxury GT car, the 2022 Jaguar F-Type R AWD Convertible was a good blend and very enjoyable through the mountains. With the top up it really is well insulated and takes away a lot of the exhaust sound. In normal mode the steering and suspension are very relaxed and this was a good touring car. So overall the new 2022 FType R AWD was a fun car to rip through the mountains and let the exhaust do the talking! The Coupe or a possible SVR model would have that extra body rigidity that we prefer. but the top down experience was pretty awesome! Ftype R POV let's you get behind the wheel of this $120,000 convertible sportscar! POV F-Type R was so much fun! 2022 F Type R review is linked below ;)
