2023/24 Commentary Showreel - Andrew Mather
10After several years balancing live commentary on free weekends alongside full-time work in the engineering sector, 2023 was the year Andrew Mather took the leap to become a full-time motorsport commentary for series across the UK and Europe.
In the last 12 months Andrew has taken on a number of new projects, expanding his portfolio of clients to include the FIA Karting Championships, Champions of the Future, IAME Euro Series, Wera Tools Motorsport UK British Kart Championships and Club100.
Alongside those series Andrew also made commentary appearances this last year for numerous one-off events with @AlphaLiveProductions, including the Ginetta G-Fest meeting at Cadwell Park, and 24.7TV for BARC's visit to Silverstone with the Vertu Motors Mini Challenge Trophy being the headline race series.
In addition to 2023 and early 2024's new ventures, Andrew continued to provide commentary for special events such as the Buckmore Park 24 Hour, the ROK Cup Superfinal in Italy for a 4th year in a row, the British 24 Hour Kart Race and the Super One Series.
As part of his work running DDMM, continued coverage of the sim racing in the form of the Club100 iRacing Championship expanded Andrew's skills in broadcast production behind the scenes.
Andrew's sporting interests extend beyond motorsport as an avid follower of football, rugby union, cricket and the NFL.
