Arma Reforger has come a long way since its release on Xbox & PC back in 2022, but we're now out of Beta & with a PlayStation release imminent, I thought it might be useful to do an up-to-date review, asking if it's worth buying, what's good vs the bad, and what actually is Arma Reforger.
Probably the most important fact you've got to remember before (and after) buying Reforger, it that it is a test-bed, a stepping stone and a proof-of-concept of the new Enfusion Engine, which devs and publishers Bohemia Interactive will be using for their full release, Arma 4.
Arma Reforger will give you amazing immersive multiplayer combat experiences, as long as you get on the mic and talk to people, but if you don't if can turn into a frustrating running simulator when you never know where you're going, what you're meant to do, where the enemy is & who shot you!
There's no other game like it on console, so if you're itching to get into the mil-sim genre, and have a lot of patience and enjoy team work, Reforger will be a fantastic game.
