2024 in a vlogshell
57Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉 Reflecting on the past 12 months, I’m overwhelmed by the kindness and support I’ve received.
From the GAMECAT community funding my a trip to PAX East which changed everything for me, to my Empathy Arcade community who show up every week to support me—this year has been a testament to the power of connection. 💙
It wasn’t an easy year. While pouring everything into projects, I often found myself glancing at a world facing so much turmoil, with conflicts, disasters, and struggles that felt unrelenting.
But I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about pushing through at all costs; it’s about building a foundation for balance and well-being. This is at the heart of mastering self-compassion.
2024 has left me with new grey hairs (earned!), valuable lessons, and a renewed commitment to investing in what truly matters: health, relationships, and REST! Lots and lots of rest! 😅
A special thanks to Alex, who helped me create my job pitch video; Jorg, who called the moment I went public about losing my job; Bryan, AJ, and Wes, my incredible co-hosts; Wes (again!) for introducing me to Impact Reality and setting me on a life-changing path; Jasmine, Eric, and Natasha for bringing me on board; and Huw and Jonny for being there for me always.
