20XX (Beta) - Run #6 (Defiant Mode: Bankrupt) As Nina
320XX is a steam game highly influenced by Megaman and is kind of roguelike? (This term is still new to me.) How the game works is you fight through eight randomly generated levels which each have a boss at the end of them. While playing the levels you'll find many different upgrades which make you stronger as you go along. However once you die it is permanent. There are currently two playable characters which are Nina and Ace. Nina is the Megaman of the game while Ace is Zero. It is a really fun game which I recommend checking out if you like Megaman.
Info: Welcome back to more 20XX gameplay. This time I decided to change up the run just a little bit by adding modifiers. The modifier I decided to add on this time around is the Bankrupt Skull which removes the nuts for the run. This means enemies will no longer drop nuts and all Scrap Recycler rooms are removed as well. Having this skull on actually makes the run a lot more difficult as there is less opportunities to get upgrades. You basically have to search for them as well as go with whatever is given to you by the end of the level. (You also can't use any machines that require nuts obviously.) Anyways, it was pretty fun doing this run as it provided a good challenge. I thought I was getting through this too consistently on casual so I think Defiant Mode is a good way to change things up.
