Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the third edition of the Global Maritime India Summit (GMIS) 2023 via video conferencing. The summit will be held from 17th to 19th October at MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai. He also launched 21 projects worth Rs. 18,800 crores including 3MW Solar Project & 2 MW Wind Project in VO Chidambaranar Port, Construction of new fish jetty at Mumbai Port and Mechanization of Port Berths in Visakhapatnam among several others.
