Manual MF+Runefinding from the perspective of a HC botter. For Bnet where maps are random, also back in the day there was a 20 games/hour/key limit and 100 games/hour/ip. People say heaps of dumb shit about what you should do, but I have 100's of hours of statistical data from botting.
The auto andariel quest bug only works with the game host, so cant combine with regular quest bug.
Maggot lair is the most common HR drop location when botting, but its too slow to manual teleport though.
Forgot can use telekinesis to open chests, this was unusable with 300 ping and eventually disabled on old d2 as it was using in many exploits.
Do Arcane Sanc/Sewers 2/Quest bug meph until we get bored. Min goal is 1 ubers and 1 HR (sur+). Feel like making an auradin, but its the most expensive build after last wish and first jah his always engima XD.
I botted server 1st 99 sorc, 2nd 99 overall during one season, lost to another hammerdin botter XD. Like 5000 keysets were leaked and we were all fighting over them XD.
Good times XD. At one point one guy logged into like 800 of them at once XD. I had it setup that if I was logged into one of the keys it would say "This key is in use by Your Mother" XD I was using Amazon AWS as a proxy to change iP as eventually all the keys were temp banned from over use XD
If anyone remembers how many bots were in Lost Ark in the cities - Imagine how many bots there were in d2 when you couldnt even see it, and you could run 100's on one PC. Though the big item shops just bought first HR drops then duped from there.
EDIT: Now that we thought about it, we found a Zod in a chaos game, so we have found every single rune playing manually on bnet XD.

EDIT100runs: Best rune Um, honestly think its below average luck, no dracs yet for ubers.
EDIT200runs: Best Mal, confident its the best method, we got 2 um's and a mal in one run. We're generating SO MANY rune drops, just a matter of time! Its also really good for charms, we found FOURTEEN skillers already! Also have drac's, just need 40+r elite pally shield and dkeys. Stay on bugged meph for awhile longer, still too many items to get. Eventually transition to pindle/nith runs.
