This started out as me asking myself "Hey, I wonder what else I could turn my Shining Force engine into." I spent about 24 hours messing around and playing with different ideas before ending up with what you see in this video.

The basic idea is that each player starts with a portal which they can use to summon units. They must then compete with each other for resources and power. The end goal is to be the last player standing.

Some units (Such as the Viking) can capture structures. Capturing a village yields +50 power per turn, and capturing a portal allows you to summon from that location.

This game also uses the combat triangle. So warriors do lots of damage to archers, archers do lots of damage to mages, and mages do lots of damage to warriors.

Structure capture speed and damage are both based on a unit's health. So weaker units are less effective!

Future goals for this project:
-AI + Campaign Mode. (Story will take place 10,000 years before Legend of Syro and feature different playable scenarios.)
-Allow for 'Allies' or 'Tag Team' Battles.
-Online Multiplayer Support. (Never even attempted this, so I may be way in over my head! In other words, I'd like to do this but it might not happen.)
-General Polishing. Main menu, eye candy, that sort of thing.
