43A highly contagious virus breaks out at Third Street School, brought in by Gus Griswald, which he spreads to his friends TJ, Gretchen, Vince, Mikey, and Spinelli. The Board of Education catches notice of this virus and a HAZMAT response team is immediately dispatched to decontaminate the school grounds. Gus and his friends are cured just before the virus spreads and chaos ensues. An evacuation mission fails as the school becomes overrun with the infected. Hank the janitor, Muriel Finster's love, bravely stays behind to hold them off as long as he and the other janitors can. Finster collects a group of survivors and uses the school buses to make her own evacuation mission, which succeeds because of Hank's noble sacrifice. On the road to salvation, one of the buses blows a tire and is left behind. Now all that remains is whether the abandoned will survive against the infected...
