Today is Singularity, a glossed over game in the vain of Dead Space and Bioshock that offered a solid story and gameplay along with a unique variety of monsters and mutants. The story follows Captain Nathaniel Renko as he investigates the abandoned island of Katorga-12, an island leveled by a mysterious explosion.
Renko raises and repairs a ship, temporarily, with the TMD that carries an E99 bomb. As Demichev's men surrounds the ship Katheryn knows that Renko can't get the bomb and survive the onslaught and decides to head into the fray despite Barisov's warnings. After receiving the word about Katheryn, Renko moves on and encounters new mutations on his way to charge the bomb.
