The upgrade desc for lv 12 Excalibur Sonic says that chance of picking up 2 Soul Surge is increased, but it actually also removes chance of picking up 1 Soul Surge, means that a Soul Surge pickup at lv 3 is either double or triple.

This is about approximating chances from lv 3 Soul Surge by collecting 100 Soul Surge pickups and making a tally for each amount of Soul Surge from a single pickup I got. Note that these races are not consecutive. Again, I've done it in party match.
