3D Concept Tech! PS1 Xtreme SuperCharged TurboBoost Away! Mini Classics! Read Description!
Pay attention to the screenshot for THIS video. It is exactly what I am trying to convey IN this video, which might not be viewable to you all, since I accidentally recorded at 30 FPS. But, you will fully understand what I am trying to get across to you:) I may rerecord in 60 FPS, if need be, so u all get better visual cues to the SMS example:)
How does 3D work? Well, Sega Master System wise, it would typically, with the shutter glasses, flip flop between half an image on each side, so by constant shuttering, would have the appearance of a full 3d like image:) I exploit that scenario using a nifty option in RetroArch. This is more about concept. But, on my end, Blade Eagle looked damn amazing! Makes me want the Shutter Glasses for real, again!
Here is where things get incredibly interesting and tricky. Oftentimes, when one mucks about with timing differentials, you can have a myriad of side effects, such as "flickering"! Flickering is a no no. But, with the magic of math, and a little ingenuity, I have pulled off better performance and speed, without said flickering being an issue for nearly every game!
I have PS1 running in HD for MD/SNES/NES/PCE/PSC/Amiga 500 Mini, all quite nicely.
