Gameplay & commentary from 3D Defender on a real Sinclair ZX81 retro computer. This is not using an emulator, but real hardware, with real tape loading software.
The screen image suffers from bad flickering, as you will see.
This is because I had to use an old black and white CRT portable tv, rather than my usual LCD HD TV, which doesn't cause such problems.
The HD TV wasn't able to lock onto the video output from the ZX81.
This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.
Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt.
They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.
