Saw some cool "commercial"-grade 3D photo montage effects. Thought I'd see if I could do something similar in Pinnacle Studio Plus ver. 9.3.

Sure enough, I was able to achieve a similar effect, though mine looks amateurish... Most notable is the annoying white outline around the foreground image. I think it has to do with the fact that I didn't mask the foreground image with a solid border (I used a spray around the edges because I thought I'd be able to soften the edges, but it looks like it worked against me). Possibly having a "hard" edge would result in an effect where there's no outline. I'll have to test that later.

Anyway, achieving this effect my way is very time consuming. Each foreground image has to be masked by hand... Also, doing this on my laptop without a mouse / pen makes things even worse. :)
