3D Shenanigans #2.18 - Testing Octane Materials in DAZ Studio
In this episode I'm taking a crack at making a portrait in DAZ Studio, using the mysterious new tools of the Octane Render Engine. I've installed the plugin yesterday, got the basics working, and now it's time to see if we can set lights and get to grips with the render settings. We're discussing alpha channels, rim lights, automatic material conversions (from both Iray and 3Delight), as well as how to connect to the Octane Auto Database to access to a plethora of materials.
