In this video I go over the newly released Adobe Substance 3D Painter Stylized Smart Material Version 3.0.
This material pack has been in the works for some time now and is now ready for full release. This material pack is a lot better than the previous iteration. While the previous material is still good to use, I often found myself adding things on top of it. This is why after a few years of using the previous stylized material I decided to create a new one which has better utility for both pbr stylized texturing as well as hand painted ( baked lighting) looks. I have used it on a few models now and can safely say that it makes texturing things a lot faster as the set of materials is much more ready made. Not only does it cut the time it takes to texture things, but at the same time is very helpful for creating a consistent look across many assets.
