In this video I will share 5 reasons why you should not buy the Samsung Galaxy J2 2016.
1. Camera
First reason is its camera performance. It sports an 8 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Even though the camera resolution of both front and rear cameras has been bumped up compared to the predecessor, yet it does not impress us much. The camera performance of this phone is average and you can expect some amount of graininess in the images.
2. Performance
Next reason is its average performance. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor coupled with Mali-400 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM. It scored around 25,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarks. We played a few games on this device and found its gaming performance to be average. We experienced lags and stutters while playing moderate to heavy games. It is not a performance oriented phone and we would not suggest this phone if you are a gaming freak but it is suitable for light users for general day to day usage.
3. No Auto Brightness
Third reason is that it lacks auto brightness feature and you will have to adjust the brightness manually using the slider depending on the conditions. However, there is an outdoor mode option that increases the brightness for 15 minutes or until the screen is turned off.
4. Average Speaker
Next reason is that sound quality from the speaker is just average. Audio is not very loud and clear and could have been better.
5. Overpriced
Fifth reason is its price tag. The Galaxy J2 2016 has been launched for Rs. 9,750 which seems overpriced considering that there are some other options in the same price range that offer better specs.
