Step 1: Delete Cache Files!
- Documents / Electronic Arts / Sims 3 / Delete files that end with .package
- Go to DcBackup folder, delete everything in there. DO NOT DELETE ccmerged.package! (It's extremely important)
- Delete everything in FeaturedItems folder.
- Move Screenshots to another folder that's not in the Sims 3 folder. (Pictures/Documents/Videos)

Step 2: Clean Save Files!

Step 3 & 4: Avoid the Launcher of Death!
- Turn Sims3Pack files to .package files using Multi Sims3Pack Extractor!
- You can also use "Sims3Pack Cleaner" which will clean any type of Sims3Pack file!

Step 5: Merge Package Files!
- My best advice would be to merge all of your .package files that are CC into one package file using S3pe. This is so helpful and can make your folders a lot more organized :)
- I would suggest combining the files by type, such as (Male Hair, Child Clothing, Eyeliner, etc.)
