5 Tips for INFPs to Overcome Procrastination and Stay Motivated Landscape
Do you wanna overcome procrastination and stay motivated as an INFP? Here are five unique strategies that I use.
One, embrace your indecisiveness to explore more options. If you're not feeling it, then there's a reason that you're not feeling it. So you need to find the thing that is most exciting to you and capitalize on that.
Two, you need to use your downtime to fuel your creativity. If you're not exploring yourself in your downtime and your identity, then you're going to get exhausted. So you need to delve into your own stories and your own personal passions and intrigue.
Number three, allow yourself to daydream and visualize your goals. Use your imagination. Use that exploratory joy that we all have as INFPs to fuel your goals so that you can embrace them in the future, and then go live into the actions that you need to take in order to create those.
Four, use your idealism to inspire action and change. If you are aligned with it. If it's something that is extremely important to you, then you are going to take the actions that you need to do in order to create that change in your life and in the lives of others that are important to you.
Five, channel your sensitivity into a superpower for empathy and understanding. You have such an ability to tap into what is intrinsically important in human nature and finding some sort of thing within somebody else that is going to motivate you to take those actions is going to be extremely important.
For me, it's like if I don't make a video, if I don't get out of my comfort zone, then I'm hurting somebody by not giving them the information or the motivation, the inspiration that I possibly could. So tie it to another individual and use that as fuel to keep you going.
