We visit the massive Anyox mine that had a town of 3,000 until it was suddenly abandoned in 1935. Located on the North Coast in a remote area with no roads it has seen few visitors since then. Anyox had its own hydro electric dam, powerhouse, smelter, brick and coke plants as well as the largest copper smelter in the British Commonwealth!
