When smart people work jobs they Hate it becomes “lunch break how to get to America?”
Innovation requires eliminating the red tape FAST with a sledge hammer and not a scalpel so the smarty pants stay and don’t go west by carving out spaces of “elite freedom” for the innovators who need their “own free spaces”.
Dumb arses like myself don’t need private gyms creative free space perks: elite freedom.
This is a good follow on topic: to “kill” switch China’s tech industry, the best option is to take all the talent or make no sound when the rival does stupid policy moves: “When the enemy is stupid make no objection” where China self-stifles its own talent with venture capitalists all running abroad to the west for refuge aka:
“Communist Party meeting leads to dead end career options and young people go to USA: a few will be spies but the rest just want money”.
These bright young talents are going to be disillusioned fast once they work the grind and start searching the Internet for “go to America”.

China college kids are too smart too smart can’t stop China ever unless you pull these smarty pants out of China to Silicon Valley.
