74The Paladin is a heavy cavalry unit in Age of Empires II that can be trained at the Stable once the Imperial Age is reached. Like most other cavalry, Paladins are very agile, though they cannot match the speed of Light Cavalry. They are effective for wiping out almost any unit in the game. However, they are susceptible to the weaknesses of all cavalry units, and should be used carefully to avoid mass death.
The Chu Ko Nu is the unique unit of the Chinese in Age of Empires II. It is an archer that fires multiple arrows in quick succession.
Only the first arrow does full damage, though. All the other arrows fired deal 3 pierce damage and 0 melee damage. A regular Chu Ko Nu fires three arrows per volley, and an Elite Chu Ko Nu fires five.
