Part 3 of Build Your House Series

Turn Your House Into A Horde Base

In this Episode we take the house that we built from scratch in part 1, and turn it into a worthy LIVE IN HORDE BASE.

Although a LIVE IN HORDE BASE isn't always recommended by some, it is a very viable way of playing the game! And having a two in one base is actually a lot of fun and doable.

The keys to building a really good live in horde base is installing multiple kill corridors, that funnel or "path" the zombies to you in a somewhat solitary line, and having multiple fall back points to other kill corridors and or kill boxes that have escape routes. As long as you give yourself this you will not see your base torn down so easily!

Quick Reference For Building A Live In Horde Base:

1: Make kill corridors that only allows a path of one block wide to your chokepoint
2: Upgrade your kill corridors to concrete, reinforced concrete, and steel if possible
3: Layer your blocks with iron bars to strengthen them, a good substitute for steel
3: Make multiple fall back kill corridors
4: Install Escape Routes, the more options the better chance you will survive
5: Install hatches to control access to your chokepoints
6: Install a mini horde base nearby if your house is destroyed
