7 Days style.
Hello everyone, and welcome back to Freddy Plays, the only channel where you can see my bearded face playing games! It's been a while between 7 Days sessions for the YouTube channel, and i was starting to feel like i should do more, so here we are!
I'll level with you, I may have played a little bit on my Twitch channel, just to try something different, and that's why this video is kicking off at day 8. But, I didn't wanna leave you guys hanging, so I'm back with more 7 Days to Die goodness!
I'm pretty rusty at this game though, so you'll have to bare with me while i find my footing again, there's a lot to learn, and a lot of things have changed! Like, almost everything i knew about this game is in some way different now, which is both annoying, and fun, because it means they're refiing the gameplay. So, ya know, take what you can get!
Picking up at Day 8 means that you've missed the first 7 day horde, but we did manage to survive it, which made a nice change. The zombies aren't set on super feral crazy mode, so even though they did keep on coming, they weren't sprinting after me, which is also nice. I managed to hold them at bay long enough to live through to the dawn of day 8.
One thing i have learned about 7 Days to Die and it's later updates, is that now the zombies can both dig down into underground bases, and are more clever with their pathing and tracking.
I thought I had a halway decent spot to wait out the 7th night, but the undead managed to find their way upto me without too much trouble. I don't mind a bit of basic problem solving, walking where there's a path and all that, but the digging down annoys me. I used to enjoy my subterranian bases! I guess now i'll have to make a mega tower and cover it with automated turrets and landmines!
