This ended up taking a good amount of time to prepare and study for. Who would've thought I'd have to do that! But really, that aside, I feel bad that I keep saving the "non-digital" games for last, because they're still pretty good games. This one's real simple, too, when it comes to supplies, so it's all the better if you're stuck in study hall with nothing to do. Goodness knows I would have wanted a game like this to play back then.

All in all, it's hard to say if the game qualifies properly as a roguelike. I think it comes close to following the guidelines of making a game that's replayable, variable, and requires you to make tough decisions. It would appear to be a little "unfair", but since it's more of a race against time (except in reverse, i.e., you're trying to empty the deck), the balance isn't entirely off. Ultimately it'd take a lot of played games to figure out what results in high enough probability to keep things interesting. But I like it! I really do.
