This has a good plenty going for it: traps that you have to think about, non-trivial enemies most of the time, a fast-paced hunger meter... a good plenty indeed! The only major issue I had was the clicking aspect of using items, but that appears to have already been handled in the post-7DRL version, so props to that! I dare say that the two versions are rather different, so you may want to take a look at to see both the "idea forming" and the "idea come to fruition". Take the time if you can to check it out, you won't be disappointed!
