8 Eyes Video Walkthrough
43At the request of MurdocRusche, I present you a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the NES game 8 Eyes.
You'll notice I'm using a code when I start. What I'm doing is accessing the third quest of sorts, which is pretty much the hard mode of the game. Enemies are faster and so forth, so let me just say the game is actually easier than what you're seeing. I haven't played the normal mode since I was requested to do the hard mode. I figured I might as well jump into the fray and practice with the enemies as they were going to be.
You'll notice near the start I go in and deselect an item to use. I was thinking I would just do that every time before the boss fight so I wouldn't waste any item power, but quickly threw that to the side since it would just waste too much time. As long as you do the action to use an item, you'll be just dandy....
I should also say that my boss strategies most likely aren't the best in the world. That ice ball thing works on bosses so I figured I would just go nuts on them with it. I guess it worked out rather well at the end when you could easily recharge yourself...Perhaps there was an easier way to beat them in other easier modes, but I guess what I did was good enough...I guess it would have been ideal if I didn't get smacked around though...
