In Tidal Blades Banner Festival, players are racing around the map, playing tricks, trying to gain the most points by placing banners, making full trips around the central ring, and collecting squishy fruits! Tidal Blades Banner Festival is a trick taking game set in the beautiful, familiar tidal blades world. Tidal Blades Banner Festival is played over 3 rounds, with each round consisting of 8 trickes. The player that wins the trick gets to move their watercraft to the location of the trade gate, which will be moving around the map's 4 quadrants. The location of the trade gate determines the strength of each suit, and Tidal Blades Banner Festival has four suits represented by four colors. If a player is able to move past the 8th position - make a full revolution around the ring, they will get to flip over one of their scoring cards, giving them more points to score at the end of the game. The player with the lowest trick card gets to perform the action on the card they played and they also get to pick the location of the trade gate for the next round. And in Tidal Blades Banner Festival, the players in the middle get to place banners in the trade gate's current quadrant.

At the end of each round of Tidal Blades Banner Festival players will score for their trade gates that were placed that round, and there are also opportunities through the game to collect and score for squishy fruit! At the end of the game players will tally up the points on their scoring cards, points for area control from banners, and a final feast to score fruits, and the player with the highest score wins!

Tidal Blades Banner Festival has some really unique trick taking mechanics that were really fun and made the game feel different than your standard trick taking.
