In PIcture Perfect, players are competing to take the best photo. The Picture Perfect board game is played over a series of rounds where players will be looking in secret envelopes that contain information about where each player wants to be placed. During the game, players will be trading envelopes and working to meet as many of the requests of each person as they can. Picture Perfect is fun, easy to learn, at times very frustrating, but a great game to play with family and friends. The Picture Perfect board game presents a challenge to maximize points by getting as many people in their preferred location as possible while figuring out which requests to give up on. It won't be possible to get everyone 100%, so players must decide which requests to focus on and which requests to let go of.

This Picture Perfect review was shot immediately after our full Play the Game episode. These are our raw, unfiltered thoughts from the playthrough episode and our past experience with the game.

From the Publisher:
How do you take the perfect picture of a group of people if you only have one try? Each character has different wishes. Some want to be at the front of the picture; some want to stand next to another; and some really don't want to be next to that one particular person by any means. Do your best to make everyone happy – even if you don't actually know all the characters' preferences…In Picture Perfect, first released as Der Perfekte Moment, you need to arrange fourteen characters to take the perfect photograph. Each of them has three specific desires that you want to fulfill. Unfortunately, these desires are hidden in envelopes.During the game, the players try to take a look inside these envelopes to figure out how to place the characters correctly. To do so, they trade their information with others — or maybe try to hide it...Whoever earns the most points at the end of the game has fulfilled the most desires and becomes the master photographer.

Play the Game is a youtube channel dedicated to sharing our love of boardgames. Our flagship series, Play the Game, is a high quality multi-camera board game play through series featuring a bunch of friends gathered around the table playing board games. Play the Game takes its inspiration from other shows like Tabletop. Our Mission with Play the Game is to highlight the joy that comes when you gather around the table with friends and play a board game. Play the Game features a dedicated board game playthrough studio with 7 cameras, a custom board game table, an awesome custom made back-lit logo on the wall, and tons of easter eggs sprinked through the studio space. Play the Game is also the home of the Kidsplaining tutorial series, where Jarred (12) and Peyton (9) teach some of our favorite games in high quality, scripted board game tutorial videos. Kidsplaining started as a way to share our love of board games and help those who were intimidated by more complicated modern board games take a chance on new ones - because if a kid can teach it, how hard can it be?
