8bitdo released their 2.4 GHz controllers for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Super Nintendo (SNES) this week. How well does the new 8bitdo NES controller function?

I have been a big fan of 8bitdo controllers, starting with the NES Classic. I have been using the NES DIY bluetooth kit for the old school NES controller and a 8bitdo retro receiver for some time. I was super excited about this product because I wanted a 2.4 GHz version of the NES N30. I have been perfectly happy with the N30 for the Switch as well as the NES Classic. How does this N30 2.4 GHz controller work?
