Some exciting news coming out of CES 2021 today! TCL's 6 (and most likely 8 series) lines will be 8K and offer OD Zero mini-LED technology with tens of thousands of backlights resulting in thousands of local dimming zones! Though, it's not entirely clear if the 6 Series will get the traditional mini LED backlight system of previous years, or the upgraded OD Zero mini LED tech. The OD tech may be reserved for the 8 Series only. Stay tuned for more details.

Also exciting, LG has pledged to release an even smaller OLED TV for 2021 at 42 inches! This will be a great monitor option for both console and PC players looking for something a bit smaller than 48-55 inches. Let's discuss!
