We took all the best storage ingredients including:
- 8x 256GB ADATA SP920 SSDs
- 8x 2TB WD RED HDDs
- LSI Nytro SSD NMR 8110-4i and
- LSI MegaRAID SAS 9361-8i

Using these we created a few different RAID configurations to see how the SSDs and NAS grade drives would fare if you were to deploy them in RAID 0 and RAID 5 which are the most common RAID types (performance and failover)
