The area of Crateria is a cold one! Makes me wonder if Planet Wurm suffered an environment change or is on a desolate planet far from the sun, who knows! What I do know is this place is very hazardous as you dive further into it! Heck, even the ancient Wrecked Ship has weathered away due to age!
...using my imagination for the planet and no one can stop me on that factor now!
