In the frozen north of Hokkaido, a scarred young man pans for gold some 10 years too late, in an effort to fulfil a promise made to a comrade lost listening to a drunk old time spin a tale of murder, betrayal and riches beyond your wildest dreams.
Originally written by Satoru Noda the now completed action adventure seinen set in the end of the Meiji era was made into an anime first by Geno Studio and later Brains base and the rest is history. It's a weird wacky and incredibly bloody treasure hunt that has since it's first episode in 2018 become my favourite anime of all time.
