A First Look at Gug! Where Roguelike meets AI - Auspicious or Arbitrary?
So, semi-recently, I was asked by the #indiegamedev @MartianLawyersClubSocial to give a gander at their #indiegame #roguelike - #Gug. Admittedly, it was a bit of a struggle for me, because at its core, it's a title that makes us of #ai - albeit in a rather unique way. Specifically, it lets you create units by inputting descriptors - which it does by trawling the internet for meaning, and applying them to the aformentioned critters.
It's weird, it's definitely not balanced- but, even despite my absolute abhorrence for #aigaming stuff - I'll admit that it was unique.
So, yeah. I made this video. And if you do wind up being curious about it, you can check it out @ https://store.steampowered.com/app/2824790/GUG/
