In 2021 While RV'ing In the Zion National Park I Decided to Take a Hike Along "the Narrows" Trail, "Streaming" Thru The Water in a Very Beautiful Part of That Park and After a Light Rain I Ate Lunch, Got Into the Clear Knee-High Stream and Within 10 Minutes it Turned Into THIS, a Raging River, 6-8 Feet Deep, Large Logs and Branches Zooming By and Very Muddy and Dangerous as You Can See in This Video.....That's How Fast Weather Can Disrupt an Otherwise Beautiful Hike into a Very Volatile and Hazardous Situation! I'm So Glad I Delayed Getting Into The (Clear Stream) That Day for 30 Minutes or So To Eat My Pasta Salad! Otherwise I Woulda Been Swimming in This Fast Moving River of Mud and Debris.....Always Check Weather Conditions in The Area You're Planning to Hike, Bike or Camp BEFORE Starting Your Trek.....Even a Light Rain Can Have a Devastating Impact on Your Plans and Even Your Safety....By The Way, Zion National Park is a Great Place to Spend a Week or Two Like I Did....Just Be "Weather Aware"! And Take Your Time....Captain Jeff
