A FUN But CHALLENGING Pixel Based ROGUELITE - Quest 2 Gameplay
17Compound is a VR FPS roguelite shooter with a Pixel Based art style releasing today onto the Quest 2. Travel from level to level taking out baddies while collecting new guns and using mutations (power ups) to help clear the path foward and escape each level!
★ Intro Movie Clip - "Star Wars Ep. IV: A New Hope" (1977)
★ The game has some pretty decent mechanics and physics with a total of 5 weapons (that I've seen so far). Each level is relatively small but appears to get bigger as your progress further along. The enemies, while not overly challenging, still present just the right challenge to stop you in your tracks and the game contains 3 levels of difficulty. You can pick up only one mutation (benefits such as auto reload) before the start of each run, however more mutations become unlocked as you progress. This game has some real nostalgia of the 64 bit era and those who are looking for a roguelite with this kind of graphic design will definitely enjoy this.
