A Gorgeous Looking Dicebuilding Roguelite | Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles
4Hello everyone! Another demo of an upcoming game here. This is called Astrea: Six-sided Oracles and it is tagged as a deckbuilder roguelite, but it actually is something like a Dicebuilding roguelite. It looks gorgeous and I like most of the idea of the game. With that being said, the game is tough... really hard to beat the demo (or maybe I am just bad at this xD). I tried one run before this, and there is a point where, if the fight takes too long, you just get destroyed. Basically, if you go with safe dices, you won't deal enough damage, but if you go with risky ones, a bad throw can destroy you (like here where I lost one heart one I was about to kill the demo's final boss).
I don't know if there will be any meta-progression here, so I have no idea if this is a roguelite or a roguelike.
At the end of the gameplay I look like I didn't like the game, but I actually did, I was just tired after some 7 hours run in Across the Obelisk and then this. I could give it another go one day.
