Hello everyone! More demos here. This is VergeWorld, a combat racing roguelite with retro pixel art. It mixed both genres pretty nicely, you go on your way clearing short stages (sometimes you have options), you beat it and you get materials that you can use to upgrade your ship, by getting mods or new guns (or upgrading the ones you have). I don't know how far you will be able to go with the modifications in the main game, but that's it in the demo. There is not a lot of racing, besides the fact that you move at high speed and you have goal, because I didn't see any timer nor any reason why you would need to get there fast. You just kill everything and try not to crash as much as you can (because it is hard to control the first few minutes).

It is not a genre I usually play, reason why I am bad at it, but I enjoyed it. I would need fans of the genre to judge how good it is though.
