This week, Player Attack looks back at the history of the Australian games industry, covering nearly 40 years of development across this wide brown land.

Yes, last week was E3. Yes, that's the biggest week in the gaming calendar, but rather than rushing everything, we decided we'd take a week to get everything organised properly. So - our E3 special will be next week, and this week we're looking at things a bit closer to home.

Starting in the early 80s with Melbourne House and The Hobbit, we move forward through to Krome and TY the Tasmanian Tiger and end up somewhere around 2K Australia and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

There's been a lot of ups and a lot of downs over the past few decades, so before you start thinking that nobody's making video games in Australia, you should probably watch this.
