Hyperviolent is an old-school survival horror experience that's heavily influenced by the grandfathers of horror FPS like System Shock. It's got a great sense of atmosphere and some solid mechanics that aid the exploration and combat. The AI needs some work as it's currently too simplistic, and the backtrack-heavy map design might turn some people off. But patches are on the way and the devs are aware of the AI shortcomings, so I have a feeling this will develop into a solid shooter in time.
