Good afternoon, Tiger Family.

What week this has been! I’m sure you’re all ready to get back to a normal routine – I know I am –
and spring weather cannot get here fast enough!

One of the deciding factors in whether or not to call a snow day are the conditions of roads and streets that our buses travel. Our students can’t learn if they can’t make it safely to school, and I’m so grateful to the men and women who daily transport our students. We are blessed to have the best drivers in the state, and before the snow storm hit, I stopped by the Transportation Department to chat with Transportation Manager Tammie White about a special event coming up later this month. Take a moment to watch this video and find out why you should be wearing yellow on the last Friday of February. And no, it’s not just to usher in warmer temperatures, but it may help.
