Prolouge:
An enemy, long thought defeated, lays on the battlefield. He is close to death, moments from it. The flowing silk of his head garb suggesting long purple hair, moving of its own accord, blown by an unseen wind, as if even the garb itself were fleeing his presence. His skin is white, his features alien and horrible. Once, he could have been considered handsome; perhaps, before his ambition turned fetid and twisted him, rotting him from the inside. He lies there on the sands of a foreign planet. Death and bodies strewn around him; he lies alone. Then, footsteps in the distance, treading softly towards him, almost tender in their wake...
